Our Cebil Inventory
We have Cebil slabs in stock online in sizes that usually range:

- Up to 9' long
Cebil Origin:
Cebil, also known as Patagonian Rosewood, can be found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Peru.
Cebil Workability:
Cebil is a very durable, hard, and dense wood. Because it is so hard it can be difficult to work with, severely blunting cutting edges. Therefore, carbide tools should be used.
Cebil Uses:Cebil is used for exterior construction, railroad ties, marine uses and indoor for flooring, furniture, and turnings
Color:It is similar to cherry in color, but once a clear finish is applied it has a much richer red color. Frequently you will find beautiful dark streaks throughout the wood and is often figured.
Janka Hardness:3630 (Extremely hard)
Decay and Weather Resistance:Cebil is rated as very durable and can be used for many outdoor applications. It is resistant to termites, though susceptible to other insect attacks.
