Selection of Beli live edge slabs
Origin of Beli:
"Beli" refers to a species of wood from the Artocarpus genus, commonly found in tropical regions. The wood is also known as "Beli wood" or "Belly wood.". Grain is usually straight, though it can be interlocked. With a fine, uniform texture and good natural luster.
Color of Beli:
Heartwood is a light brown, commonly with alternating darker stripes throughout. Quartersawn sections in particular exhibit a Zebrawood-like appearance. Wide sapwood is a pale yellow and is clearly demarcated from the heartwood, and lacks the darker stripes.

Rated as moderately durable, with moderate resistance to insect attack.
